Runes

Runes are similar to that of Tarot. The word 'Rune' has been derived from the old-root word meaning 'hidden' and 'mysterious'. Dates back, Runes were used to carve inscriptions and designed to defeat the wiles of tomb-robbers Runes were even credited with the ability, when used by one gifted with occult powers, of restoring the dead to life.

To use your Rune cards, you must make a casting-cloth or a casting board, on which to place your Rune cards. A cloth heavily embroidered or painted with 'elemental colors' i.e. black for Earth, yellow for Air, red for Fire and blue for Water, certainly adds atmosphere for casting the runes and interpreting their positions.

It is known to all of us that there are 24 Rune cards. The significance of the 12 cards are discussed as follows:

In fire segment - remain calm at all cost.
In earth segment - be calm and consider matters carefully.
In water segment - moderate risks taken will pay off.

17.TIW: In air segment - you must take positive actions.
In fire segment - do not be afraid.
In earth segment - do not keep things back.
In water segment - time to move on.

18.BIRCA: In air segment - good news will come.
In fire segment - take care over small details in life.
In earth segment - try to take things more easily.
In water segment - do not worry about the present.

19.EOH: In air segment - things will prove to be transitory.
In fire segment - time to be prudent.
In earth segment - a new and important person is about to come.
In water segment- a time to be very careful.

20.MAN: In air segment - remain calm.
In fire segment - relationships will deepen.
In earth segment - avoid strain.
In water segment - be wary of others.

21.LAGU: In air segment - try hard to understand the real nature.
In fire segment - learn from past mistakes.
In earth segment - to be successful, change your behavior.
In water segment - you are in the dark about what is going on.

22.ING: In air segment - be more flexible.
In fire segment - be more helpful.
In earth segment - to be successful, change your behavior.
In water segment - what happens will depend on other people's attitude.

23.ODAL: In air segment - take an unselfish attitude.
In fire segment - be patient in order to attain what you desire.
In earth segment - if big efforts are made, success will be yours.
In water segment - be prepared to take chance.

24.DAG: In air segment - a time for thought, not action.
In fire segment - things are about to move in your direction.
In earth segment - take every opportunity in order to make success.
In water segment - actions taken will now prove effective.
